Bike safety.
Made better.
VerseBikes is a practical cycling-safety and micromobility expert. We source durable e-bikes, components and safety accessories direct from our own factory network.

Where it started
VerseBikes was founded by Tim Grootjans, an industrial designer who spent four years living and working in Shanghai. He managed production for e-bike brands, visiting factories, running QC on-site, negotiating directly with manufacturers, before moving back to the Netherlands.
Those years built something hard to replicate: real relationships with real factories, at the same level major European brands operate. VerseBikes was built to open that access to brands and operators who don't have an office in Asia.

Why we exist
Most cycling products sold in Europe pass through two or three layers of distribution. Each layer adds cost and removes accountability. By the time a product reaches a retailer, often no one in the chain has visited the factory or seen the production line.
We removed those layers. We buy direct, QC on-site, import ourselves and dispatch from within the EU. What you pay reflects the cost of making something properly, not the cost of moving it through middlemen.

Sustainability
Everything ships in uncoated kraft cardboard — no plastic, no foam, no waste. Moulded paper pulp inserts. FSC-certified materials throughout. Two-colour print only. Every box is designed to be recycled or composted. Not as a marketing point — because it's the right way to make things.
